The Nike Air Jordan V 'Laney' White/Varsity Maize - Varsity Royal Black 136027-189 will be getting a very well deserved re-release this November and will be available to buy at Wellgosh.  The Nike Air Jordan V 'Laney' is a tribute to Michael Jordan's High School, Laney High and the colourway matches the colour of his High School.  Here's a little knowledge for you, Michael Jordan didn't actually make the High School Basketball Team during his first try out!

The Nike Air Jordan V 'Laney' features Premium White Leather uppers with royal accents on the tongue and midsole which are offset nicely by the hint of varsity maize and black.  The Jordan V originally released way back in 1990 and was designed by the legendary Tinker Hatfield, the man behind many Nike classics including the Nike Air Max 87 aka Nike Air Max 1.  Tinker Hatfield took inspiration from the World War II Mustang Fighter Plane whilst designing the Air Jordan V, the most notable features have to be the Shark Tooth featured at the front of the Midsole providing not only a great look but also more traction on the Court.  The Nike Air Jordan V was also the first Jordan Sneaker to feature Lace Locks.

Like the majority of Nike Air Jordan Retro releases, the demand on the Nike Air Jordan V 'Laney' 136027-189 is going to be very high as the last time they were available was back in 2000.  Wellgosh.com will be receiving a very limited number and sizes will be pretty sparse in the grand scheme of things especially with the demand for Retro Jordan Sneakers in the US.  Scheduled for a Global Release Date on Saturday 2nd November (subject to change) and will retail for £135.00.

A$AP Rocky has come a long way since chilling with his A$AP Mob, dropping High End Fashion Brands in his Mixtapes and now collaboration with the likes of adidas Originals and Jeremy Scott.  Things are going well for the self confessed 'Pretty Mother Fu*ker'.  At the end of the month, Wellgosh will be releasing the adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott x A$AP Rocky Wings 2.0 'Black Flag'.  Mr Rocky is clearly a fan of the Limited Edition adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott Collection, rocking them in his 'Peso' and 'Purple Swag' Videos.  The adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott x A$AP Rocky Wings 2.0 'Black Flag' are no doubt going to have it's fans as both Jeremy Scott Collectors and A$AP fans will be looking to pick up a pair.

The adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott x A$AP Rocky Wings 2.0 'Black Flag' will be available to buy at Wellgosh from Friday 28th September.  As expected, sizes and stock are very limited and demand is very high for this release.

Put simply, PEdALED makes clothing to enjoy on the bicycle. 'Go by bicycle, feel the elements and contemplate nature'

Wellgosh were one of the first stores to stock Stussy in the UK so when a delivery comes in, we're always pretty eager to see what the latest offerings are.  Strong graphic print T-Shirts and Sweaters, Stussy Basic Logo and SS Logo's and the latest Artist Series are amongst the first pieces that are drawn out.  This Fall, Stussy have teamed up with Illustrator and Designer, Kevin Lyons.  Kevin Lyons is from New York and is famed for his colourful Monstrous illustrations.  Wellgosh currently have the Stussy x Kevin Lyons T-Shirt Collection available to buy online.  The tight collection consists of 4 T-Shirts each featuring the handy work of Mr. Lyons.

The Nike Air Max 1 has been widely appreciated since its first release and Nike are still captivating customers with exciting new colour ways 26 years on! Loved for a multitude of reason, the timeless silhouette features visible Air Max technology, perfectly placed padding and an unbeatable highly durable construction.

This Fall, Nike has treated the ladies to this duo of speckled beauties.

The first of the pair features a Light Armoury Blue mixed textile upper with soft pastel speckling to the midsole and a gum sole which is sure to catch a fair few sneakerhead's eyes.

This week has seen the arrival of Bleu De Paname's Autumn/Winter 2013 collection at Wellgosh Headquarters. The still fairly young Parisian brand was founded by two childhood friends in 2008 and has quickly become established as one of the most prominent streetwear brands of recent years. The brand draws inspiration from functional workwear to create durable trend specific garments with flawless aesthetics.

Perhaps one of the most eye-catching pieces of the Autumn/Winter 2013 collection is the frost busting Double Counter Jacket which will retail for £230. Each jacket features a luxuriously thick shearling lining, adjustable button cuffs to trap out the cold and a trio of perfectly placed pockets to store your daily must-haves. This weeks staff pick comes from our stores Assistant Manager Sandy who has chosen the all-time classic Clarks Wallabee which has been updated for Fall 2013 with a hard to resist black/brown leather upper.

Clarks Originals are all about making high quality footwear with uncluttered aesthetics that stand the test of time and the Wallabee is certainly no exception. This week saw the arrival of Penfield's Autumn/Winter collection for 2013 at Wellgosh HQ. The collection features a vast selection of jackets from ear-warming shearling collars to lightweight waterproofs, something for everyone. As we know you'll be spoilt for choice we have written this no-details spared guide to picking the perfect Penfield jacket for this winter.

Up first is the ROCKWOOL Down Jacket, available in both Navy & Black for £245.

Perhaps Penfield's most well recognised jacket is the KASSON Mountain Parka, it is an original Penfield piece that has been popular with customers for almost 40 years now and its not hard to see why. MA.STRUM A project by Donrad Duncan, inspired by the Massimo Osti Archives.

The newest member to the Wellgosh family MA.STRUM is a highly innovative luxury menswear brand that prides itself on the use of highly technical fabrics and designs garments with a focus on benefitting the wearer in as many ways as possible. The brand new Fall/Winter 2013 range consists of a number of functional outerwear pieces that have consistently sharp aesthetics.

Consistent with previous releases the Fall/Winter collection features a heavy military and sportswear influence whilst designs provide the wearer with optimum warmth and ease of movement through the uses of purpose chosen fabrics and carefully selected designs. Wellgosh we will be stocking a number of heavy winter garments from MA.STRUM, each with their own list of functionality's from water repellent soft touch jersey shells to hidden inner pockets.

One of our favourite MA.STRUM pieces for this winter has to be the NCJ-2 Rip-Stop Low HP Jacket which has as many innovative features as it's name does syllables. The timing of the release of the Nike Air Force 1 Low 'Weatherman' couldn't have been better with all this weird weather we've been having recently.  Wellgosh will be releasing the Nike Air Force 1 'Weatherman' Quickstrike 599457-100 at Midnight (UK) on Friday 27th September.  The Weatherman AF1 is part of the Nike 'Weather' Pack that also consists of two Nike Air Foamposite Sneakers.  As it's a Quickstrike release sizes and stock are next to none.

2013 has seen a record number of womens Nike releases that have got the guys green with envy and the Nike Air Max Thea 'Glow In The Dark' Pack is certainly no exception. As the newest of the Air Max Family, the Thea has been treated to a trio of radioactive colourways for Fall 2013. 

Each pair features a hyperfused upper with woven panelling, neon glow tongue and eye wateringly bright volt laces to match. The Air Max Thea combines comfort from the ever popular Air Max 1 with the lightweight feel of a Roshe Run to give you a no-quams runner with a sharp silhouette and unflawed aesthetics.

The Atomic Red colourway is set to be a favourite with the daring as undoubtably the most noticeable of the trio whilst the Black/Volt colourway keeps it classic. A gradient fade to the midsole gives the Thea's a unique edge. Each pair is perfectly finished with a glow in the dark sole.

L.A based streetwear brand Primitive has been welcomed as the newest member to the Wellgosh clan for Fall 2013. The still fairly young brand is the brainchild of Skateboarding legend Paul Rodriguez AKA P-Rod. Primitive's offering for Fall/Winter 2013 is full to the brim with standout snapback and 5-panels, from polka dot panelling to Primitive's original P logo, theres a piece for everyone.

Undoubtably one of our favourite pieces in the collection is the Classic 'P' Navajo Snapback Cap. The Navajo style peak ties in perfectly with otherwise two-tone cap which features snap back closure at the rear and Primitives signature 'P' logo embroidered on the front.

Vans latest collaboration has seen the California born brand join ranks with London's fabric masters, Liberty. The collection see's two of Vans most recognised silhouettes draped in six different Liberty fabrics, each with it's own enticing design. The collection is kicked off with two paisley inspired designs, one for simplistic Authentic and the other for the equally appreciated Vans Era. Every shoe features an entirely unique design as the upper is cut directly from stock fabric meaning that no two pairs are the same. The rest of the collection see's Liberty doing what it does best, captivating customers with hard to resist florals that have been applied to a number of different colour palettes.

As we say goodbye to Summer for another year and the dark months start to set in, it's a necessity to be seen when it's getting dark at 4pm.  Nike give the Air Max 1, Max 90, Max 95 and Max Thea the 'Glow in the Dark' treatment as part of the 'Standout Pack' for Holiday 2013.  In the day, the Nike Standout Pack is simply a crispy white pack of Air Max silhouettes featuring synthetic uppers and Premium Tape uppers.  By night, things start to get really interesting with an array of Glow in the Dark Animal Prints featured on select panels of each shoe.  The pick of the bunch for me has to be the Nike Air Max 90 as it's very reminiscent of the Nike Air Max 90 Kaws that dropped in 2008.  The Nike Standout Pack is available to buy at Wellgosh now.

So after nearly a years delay, the Asics x Highs & Lows 'Bricks & Mortar Pack finally dropped at Wellgosh last weekend as an in store only release.  We had devoted fans of the Asics Runner camping at the Store from 9pm on the Friday.  This weekend will see yet another highly anticipated release with the Asics x Bait 'Phantom Lagoon' Gel Saga.  Unlike the Bricks & Mortar Pack, the Asics x Bait 'Phantom Lagoon' Gel Saga will be available to buy online at Wellgosh and will retail for £110.

As expected, sizes and stock are once again very limited like all of the Asics Collaborations.  Demand is going to be very high for this release so make sure you've got your index finger at the ready when it comes to Midnight on the 19th October.

When we first saw the Foamposite back in 1997 for the first time, it was unlike anything that we had seen before.  Indeed, the Foamposite was made famous an iconic by Penny Hardaway but the Nike Air Foamposite was originally designed for Chicago Bulls Legend, Scottie Pippen.  Mike Bibby even beat Hardaway to be the first NBA Player to rock the Foamposite in the NBA, rocking the Royal Foamposites on March 23 of 1997.  The design of the Foamposite Upper was inspired by a Beetle, no, not the VW Car but the creepy crawly and Korean Car manufacturer Daewoo played a key part in the production of the Foamposite.  The company that makes Cars, Microwaves and TV's can also knock up a classic pair of kicks it seems.  The uppers start out as a liquid and is pored into moulds.  The Nike Air Foamposite retailed for $180 becoming the most expensive Sneaker on the Market, some thought that this would ruin the Sneaker Industry but with the average cost of $750, 000 for each Foamposite mould, a hefty price tag was inevitable.

Holiday 2013 sees the Nike Air Foamposite Pro and Foamposite One return to Wellgosh.com.  The Nike Air Foamposite One Premium 'Safari' 575420-003 features, you guessed it, a full Safari print upper whilst the Nike Air Foamposite Pro Premium Fire 616750-600 features an intergalactic 'Asteroid' upper. We're expecting both Foamposites to be hitting Wellgosh in December 2013.  Keep an eye on the Wellgosh Twitter for more info regarding the release dates.

This weeks staff pick come from Basi, long term fan of Palace Skateboards and Wellgosh staff member. It took Basi a matter of seconds to chose the Palace Bunning Man Tracksuit and it's not hard to see why.

As temperatures drop and the reality of winter sets in it's about time you start putting together a practical wardrobe. But being practical needn't be boring and London based independent Skateboard Company Palace Skateboards show us how to keep swish without risking frostbite through the upcoming chilly months.

Reebok should be crowned the Collab kings of 2013.  The 30th Anniversary celebrations of the Reebok Classic Leather Sneaker has seen a load of strong Collaborative Projects with the likes of Stash, Crooked Tongues, Livestock, SNS and Frank the Butcher's BAU (Business as Usual) to name a few.  Reebok start to close what has already been a very successful 2013 with yet more collabs from heavyweight brands and the 26th October will see the release of the Reebok x Head Porter Plus Classic.  The all over Leopard Print Upper features Premium Tan Leather accents works well giving the Reebok x Head Porter Plus Classic a very luxury feel.

Since it's high profile debut back in the summer of 2012 the Nike Roshe Run has been treated to a vast array of colourways from low-key camouflage prints to vivid neons. This Fall, Nike have treated the ladies to a Raspberry Red/Purple Dynasty/Green Glow colourway which is sure to be a welcome addition to a lot of ladies sneaker rotations.

The popular silhouette features a fruity Raspberry Red mesh upper, jet black swoosh, Green Glow embroidered lace eyelets a set of hiking style laces that are sure to make this release fly off the shelves.

The Nike Air Huarache LE continues to make moves this Holiday 2013 with the second colourway in the 'Zebra' Huarache LE.  These Nike Air Huarache Nike Air Huarache LE 'Zebra' Team Red 318429-630 are a must for fans of the classic 90's Runner, Animal Lovers and Washington Redskins Fans.  The Nike Air Huarache LE 'Zebra' Dark Loden hit the Wellgosh website a little over a week ago and as expected, demand was very high for this release.  Materials and make-up wise, the Team Red Huarache is exactly the same except for the punchier colourway, you'll spot that Volt ankle strap a mile off!
